Since 1990 Helen Wilkie has been a partner in MHW Communications, as a professional keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, consultant, coach and author. She specializes in workplace communication, as well as the specific challenges faced by new and recently appointed managers.

Born and raised in Scotland, Helen was educated at the University of Strathclyde and Jordanhill College of Education in Glasgow, where she specialized in commerce and economics. She taught high school in Scotland for a couple of years and then emigrated to Canada.

Before starting her own business, MHW Communications, she had garnered a wealth of corporate experience in human resources, international business, corporate development, marketing and sales. So Travelers on The Manager's Journey can be comfortable knowing she has many years of experience and observation of the world they live in.

Since 1993 she has served clients from multi-national corporations, legal and other professional firms, government, and non-profit associations across North America.

Helen is the author of three books:

• Communications for Legal Professionals

She is also the creator of a growing body of work in multi-media self-study programs.
